Finding Light in the Darkness by Anna Savina
Finding light in the darkness is a series of collages inspired by lived experience. Finding peace when it seems impossible. The works illustrate foggy and dreamy feelings that are born when you experience massive stress. Some works have old images of my hometown. Change feels intense. What’s helping people to continue to live their lives is love, people, and art in any form.
Anna Savina is an Ukrainian artist and illustrator. She is a student of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design (culturology). She was artist of the month in Kyiv Collage Collective for March and also had some publications in zines and a book, Echoes of Yesterday, by Photo Trouvee Magazine. Her main inspiration is art, nature and people. She works with analog collage as well as a digital illustration and some traditional mediums. She is always open for commissions and freelance work.
